Membership is limited to those persons residing in Manitowoc County who profess an interest in furthering the sport of yachting and sailing and for the promotion of social activities connected therewith. Special residential circumstances can be considered and approved by a majority vote of the Board. There is no social only or open membership.   
 
Any person seeking admission must be sponsored by one active member in good standing. The sponsor has to appear personally before the Board of Directors (without the person seeking admission) to propose their candidate for consideration for membership.
